A GLANCE AT THE CELESTIAL CITY.  MONDAY DECEMBER 25
TEXT: ROMANS. 11:33-36
Key Verse: “He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness” Isaiah.57:2.
A saint was taken on a heavenly pilgrimage, may this revelation inspire you in Jesus name. "Are we near the gates of the city?" "Very near to the portals of paradise," he said. At this the angels bowed their heads and covered their faces with their hands, while I fell flat on my face in the chariot. Stillness reigned in our souls, but deep emotions began to heave in my breast. I felt I must break the silence by shouting the praises of God. The angels now began to sing with a sweet voice, "Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are all thy ways, thou King of Saints." I sprang to my feet and for a moment seemed perfectly bewildered with what met my gaze in every direction. The light was so transparent and far exceeding the most perfect day earth ever afforded. Clusters of heavenly flowers were growing everywhere. Groves of beautiful trees loaded with fruit, along with magnificent flowering shrubs beautiful beyond description met my eye in all directions. Roadways like winding streets arranged with exquisite taste and beauty, were penetrating this pleasure ground of glory. Lovely souls were coming and going, passing and re-passing each other with the salutations and courtesies that heaven only knows.
The chariot was now slowing its speed and such raptures of glory which filled my soul, I cannot describe them! I was simply lost in wonder, while I kept saying, "Surely I am at home at last." The chariot seemed trembling as a thing of life and finally halted beside a beautiful grove of fruit laden trees. The doors were opened and the angels stepped out. I fairly sprang with one leap to the solid foundations of the heavenly kingdom. For a moment I stood perfectly entranced as I saw so many happy souls clothed in white garments of lovely patterns, and all with such bright and happy faces beaming with perfect contentment and satisfaction. I could contain my feelings no longer. I fell on my face again beside the angel, with loud thanksgiving to God…It is unfortunate that many still indulge in the pleasures of this world.
Thought for the day: How beautiful heaven must be!
Song for the day: Heaven is full of Joy; heaven is full of joy, joy, joy, joy.

Bible for the day: Haggai 1-2; Revelation 16

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Source Of Faith

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. The Source Of Faith  Tuesday 18th March Text: Romans 1:16-17 Key Verse: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 What is the foundation for our faith? The faith of the just man has the following sources, from where it gets its inspiration. The Word Of God: The foundation of the faith of the just, is the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith which the just exercises. The faith of the just has its foundation in what God has said in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you, from the word? Have you seen God's message for you, in the scriptures?  Believe it absolutely, and it shall surely come to pass. This will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life. “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, ...
