DELIVERED FROM THE POWERS OF DARKNESS   THURSDAY DECEMBER 7
TEXT: COLOSSIANS 2: 13 – 15
Key Verse: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” Colossians 2: 15
The Lord delivered a youth from the powers of darkness. The girl attended the International Holiness Youth Conference in Abuja and experienced the mighty touch of God. She was a member of a dreaded secret cult, the Black Axe, and came as an agent of the devil on assignment to initiate other youths. However, in the course of the programe, the power of God arrested her and she was completely delivered from satanic powers. During the ministration of Mummy Linda Paul Rika, the power of God struck her and she was delivered. Physically, she experienced deliverance as the items planted in her body vanished. She felt a slimy substance like cobwebs coming out physically from her forehead. Praise the name of the Lord.
The youth came out to testify openly at the Youth Conference to the glory of God. She testified that she was initiated by a friend, but that the girl that initiated her was caught by the State Security Service in possession of a Pistol, and she was killed. She expressed gratitude to the Lord for making it possible for her to attend the Conference, as she had to borrow decent clothes from other girls to wear, since all her personal clothes were either trousers or miniskirts. The Lord has kept her in the faith and from the wrath of the Black Axe, as she continued with Holiness Revival Movement in Nyanya Zone, giving further testimony at the Zonal Holiness Revival Movement Youth Rally. According to her, the parents are overjoyed at her conversion and deliverance because she was formerly a thorn in their flesh. Now they treat her with much love and care. 1 Thessalonians 1: 9 – 10  9 For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Thought for the day: The light shineth and darkness cannot comprehend it.
Song for the day: Jesus has broken every fetter, He has broken every fetter.
Bible reading for the day:
Daniel 9-10;  2 John

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
