The Fruits Of Physical Work

Friday June 7th

Text: 2 Thessalonians 3: 7 - 12
Key verse: 2 Thessalonians 3: 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
The fruit of physical work can be seen in a true and holy minister. Paul worked with his own hands to cater for his needs and others with him. He said, “We work with our hands as examples of righteousness to you; the food we eat, the things we purchase. A true and faithful minister engages in various profitable works. If he works in an office, he does not embezzle money, withhold the salary of his workers or under pay them because he wants more money for himself or else you go about preaching and making money through telling lies; testimony of lies. Some preachers tell all kinds of lies to build great cathedrals; the blocks of that building are waiting for you on the day of judgment because you brought it there without righteousness. The beams and pillars of that house are waiting for you in the day of Judgment because you brought them there by lies. You got the money by lies and treachery. You trade on the souls of men as you go about selling anointing oil, handkerchiefs, apron, holy water, deceiving them of miracles at the expense of eternal life.
The projects of a true and faithful minister are godly and commendable including even the clothes and shoes he wears, the house he builds and any other endeavor he undertakes. He gets money in righteousness and holiness. Every tree brings forth fruits after its kind. He does not entangle himself in fake or deceitful ventures for gain because he wants to build a church. Some ministers send people to the garage and filling stations for fund raising, asking people to contribute including the armed robbers who just finished from their duty and came to refill their vehicles; they should drop money to build a church of God. Corrupt work coming from these corrupt preachers. They do not know the holiness of God. Is God so poor that He is asking Satan to give Him money? Why do you go to people whose life you do not know? John said that they did not collect money from sinners for the cause of Christ.

Thought for the day: Physical fruits can be seen in a true and holy minister.

Song for the day: I have chosen the way …

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
