Explain Why Jesus Had To Die

Thursday June 13th

Text: Hebrews 2:14-15
Key verse: Luke 24:46 “And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:”
Why did Jesus have to die? He was made a man because every man dies, either by nature or by some other ways so He purposefully put on the body that could die because he was going to pay the price of sin by death for every sinner that comes into this world.  He has power to lay down His life and to raise it up again. It is a divine formula; the principle of salvation: Let a man die that the rest may live. He came to die for mankind so that others may live. Some people ignorantly say, ‘If Jesus is God, why did He die?’ Explain to them that it was for a purpose.
Jesus came with a body subject to death because it is appointed for men to die, no matter how long he lives on earth. No man has ever lived for up to a thousand years and in our time, man scarcely lives for over a hundred years. Jesus came to die for man, so He put on the body of man. Explain the mission of Jesus; the eternal God became man and dwelt among us for redemption of lost humanity. In the beginning was the word. The word was with God and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him. Without him was nothing made that was made. In him was life and the life was the light of men.
The word became flesh and dwelt among us. He came to his own; the people He created but the people received Him not. He came to the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He was physically in the world in the human body. The world was made by Him but the world did not know Him. Bring it to bear upon all men that Jesus is God. Jesus is the Savior. He came to deliver man from sin and Satan. The gospel message will become clear to the hearers.

Thought for the day: Talk about the sacrificial death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. People will fear Him, believe him and give their lives to Him.

Song for the day: It’s only You, Jesus, it’s only You

Bible reading for the day: Psalms 43-49

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
