Saved From The Chains Of Death

Sunday June 23rd

Text: Acts 27: 40 - 44
Key verse: Psalm 25:2 “O my God, I trust in Thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”
My name is Nendirmwa Habila Praise from Plateau state. I have been a member of HOREMOW for over 5 years now. I really do not have the right words to express my gratitude to God for preserving my life to this moment. I give glory to God for giving me the privilege to meet the people that linked me to HOREMOW. On the 19th of December, 2022, I was involved in a deadly accident that was meant to take my life. Before the accident, I had a series of dreams which were actually revelation messages from God. I had a lot of dreams that dead people were calling me to go with them but I refused and woke up immediately in all the dreams. I had other dreams related to death which were all terrible. The shield that had always held me was the fervent midnight prayer that I always do which was instructed from HOREMOW camp and I observed it as part of our assignment.
Unfortunately, on the 19th December, 2022, I woke up that fateful morning without praying and actually I did not wake up at night to pray as usual that day. My mood was not stable so I left for the shop after the usual house chores. At late evening, I boarded a ommercial motorcycle to go home. Three of my sister’s children were with me. At Total junction in Shendam, a vehicle hit us and surprisingly, none of the children sustained injury, I was the only one who got injured badly. All I could remember is that I shouted Jesus and next I was just on the tarred road with a broken leg. I was treated for about a year at home and all the period I was on the bed, I felt death was better than the emotional pains I was going through. I almost lost my faith because I wondered how this could be happening to me at my age. Will I actually become disabled; with only one working leg even when I have not married? God has helped me to maintain my faith in Him through all these moments and now I have come to thank Him for showing me mercy. Glory be to His holy name.

Thought for the day: Faith is the victory that overcomes the world

Song for the day: Glory, honor, power and majesty, be unto Christ our Lord, Alleluia

Bible reading for the day: Psalms 104-106

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
