Jesus Christ Commissioned Paul the Apostle

Friday June 14th

Text: Acts 9: 11 - 16
Key verse: 2 Timothy 1:1 “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus.”
Why does your preaching lack the word; lack the wisdom, application and authority of the word? That is why you cannot point to a true preacher, true converts, true mentees or people you have mentored. The members of your church will behave as you do. It takes a pastor after God's heart who is called and trained by God Himself to make others righteous, holy and true according to the will of God. It is God that gives those pastors ability to teach the holy word of truth and unite true believers in the church into one body. When Jesus quoted the word, Satan gave up. Use the word not your philosophy. Paul said I am among you as one that knows nothing except Jesus and Him crucified. Be immersed in Christ and in His word. God called Paul and gave him grace to build the church, a ministry of truth and holiness.
God gave Paul grace to the Gentiles, who were majority in the church. God gave him a calling to face the Gentiles with the mystery of truth and the life of holiness it produces. Paul said, God came to him by revelation. Let us be very careful because many people want to fight against revelation. They want to render revelation irrelevant. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. He speaks by revelation. We are witnesses to this. So, revelation is still there. It is still working
The apostles recognized the hand of God in the life of Paul just as the sons of the prophets recognized the power and spirit of Elijah in the life of Elisha and bowed to him. The apostles recognized the hand of the Lord upon the ministry of Paul, so much so that Peter said. “I read all the epistles of Paul and I saw that you will need grace to understand his writings. It even requires a maturity to understand.” (Paraphrased) That is what Peter said of Paul. Paul also was so confident of himself that he said God had given the ministry of reconciliation to him.

Thought for the day: The apostles recognized the hand of God in the life of Paul

Song for the day: Paul and Silas, they prayed, they sang, the Holy Ghost came down

Bible reading for the day: Psalms 50-55

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
