GIVE AN ACCUSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEFEND HIMSELF – Part 1

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: GIVE AN ACCUSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEFEND HIMSELF – Part 1        September Wednesday 9th

TEXT: John 7:45-51

KEY VERSE: John 7:51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

Don’t judge a matter without hearing the person. Don’t conclude without giving the accused person an opportunity to defend himself or to state his own side of the case. In the court of law, every accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Whatever the charges, even if the missing bundle of money is found in his house, he cannot on account of that alone be convicted of stealing because somebody could have planted it on him. Therefore, the court will still consider the person innocent until proven guilty. So, be swift to hear but slow to conclude. Only God can conclude the matter for you in righteousness. In today’s reading text, Nicodemus was telling the Jews when they were judging Jesus, “Does our law allow us to judge a person without first hearing that person's side of the story? We can't judge a person without finding out what that person has done.” Why are you judging without hearing the facts?

Many people’s minds have been polluted by wrong information they heard about Holiness Revival Movement, hence when they come for conference they get confused because they begin to see something completely different and contrary to what they have been told. Now they are saying, “Ha, I should have been a member of this Movement long ago if I had not listened to what people were saying.” The question is, “Did you take time to hear the side of the Movement or you were just listening to accusers of the Movement?” You were reading in the internet all that the enemies were saying. Did you take time to hear the other side or is it because we are not speaking as fools and responding to them? The Bible says in Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Somebody is speaking foolishly; he is taking foolish action; do we join him in his folly? That is why we don’t reply them. Bible says, “If thy brother offends you, go to him.” Did the Bible say you should go to the public and announce it? Do we now break scripture because of the error of some other people who don’t know the Lord? Or should we join them on internet to be exchanging words? Except the Lord so directs, we will leave our defense to God who justifies the righteous. Under the circumstance, it will take a diligent man to know the truth. Not somebody in haste.

Thought for the day: Act on proven facts, not assumptions. That is righteousness!

Song for the day: Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach……

Bible reading for the day: Proverbs 15-16; 2 Corinthians 1

Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern

God's blessings shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern Text: Mark 16: 17 – 20 Wednesday May 8th Key verse: Obadiah 17 “Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” God has prepared to direct us on holy service unto Himself. He tells us when the lives and services of people are corrupt because from the heart of men proceed the works they do. When people are righteous and holy, their service is also righteous and holy. Hence, the word says, make the people holy then their service will be holy, so if you accept to live a life of holiness, then the fruit of your service will be holy. So, it is very important to accept the life of holiness because the God that made you is holy; He will give you grace to be holy. You just make up your mind to be holy. Do not accept that no man can be holy; then Jesus came for nothing, Jes...
REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AMEN. PRAY CONSTANTLY                                                                      FRIDAY 11 MARCH TEXT: Luke 18: 1-7 Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Pray without ceasing. I wish My children, whilst upon earth, to live more and more with Me in “the heavenly places”. Here, there is no fear or hurry or fret of spirit. I am gratified when you wait upon Me –which waiting I always honour. My thoughts, as you wait upon Me, are impressed upon you: all that I am must be increasingly absorbed by you. It is as you wait upon Me that I give to you that sense of calm assurance which you must carry about with you always. It comes from knowing that everything you have committed to Me is being surely worked out. Yes, immerse yourself in Me –and do ...
