FEED ON THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOUR ETERNAL LIFE

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: FEED ON THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOUR ETERNAL LIFE September Monday 28th

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 8:1-5

KEY VERSE: Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

I have told you, as far as matters of heaven are concerned, for your individual life, it is better to receive than to give. But if it is matter of money or material things, it is better to give than to receive. In today’s Bible reading, the Macedonian Christians were ready to support Paul, even in their poverty, but they cared first for their souls. They cared first for their spiritual lives. Preachers, including my, must learn to first give ourselves to the Lord. Let us learn to first receive spiritual warmth of the Lord for ourselves. Let us learn to first receive fellowship with the Lord for ourselves, then we can go for preaching. The Macedonian believers were zealous for the work of God, but Paul’s testimony was that they first gave their own lives to Christ. Before rendering service, repentance and salvation from sin through faith in Christ is required of you. As you feed others in Christian service, remember to feed your soul with the word of God.

Live by the Word, read the Bible, feed on every Word of God. Study the Bible, it is the word of God. Read and listen to the Word of God over and over again. The Word of God cannot be exhausted; they are new every morning. A particular brother saw me on Saturday, here in the campground during Gwagwalada combined Chapter meeting. He said that the Lord gave him a message to me seven months ago, which he couldn’t come to deliver. But the Lord kept troubling him – Go and deliver the message. The message came when he and his wife decided to pray for the revival of Holiness Revival Movement ceaselessly. The Lord said, “Go and tell My servant. The messages I give him, came from Me, but the brethren are not obeying as I desire. It is My heart, and I desire that as they receive these messages they should distribute it to all the world and not keep it. But they receive them and keep them to themselves. I am not happy.”

Thought for the day: Feed on the word of God and live by it.

Song for the day: He’s coming back again halleluyah He’s coming back again. He went away….

Bible reading for the day: Isaiah 13-15; Galatians 6

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
