DON’T CAUSE REBELLION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: DON’T CAUSE REBELLION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD     September Monday 14th

TEXT:  1 Samuel 15:22-23

KEY VERSE: Numbers 16:3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

How did Korah convince great men of renown to rebel against God? Where were these men of renown with all the miracles of God in Egypt? They were there! Where were these men of renown with all the miracles of God in the wilderness? They were there! Where were these men when the commandment was given; when the mountain was shaken by the voice of God and the smoke and the burning fire? They were there! But these things never sank into their hearts. Brethren, don’t be here in HOREMOW in vain such that these things happening here never sink into your heart. Take a duck to the water, let it swim in the water, bring it out from the water, it will shake off the water from the feathers and remain dry.  Should you be here as a coordinator or leader and be indifferent? If you are given a message to preach on the pulpit, should your heart not be in it? Why should it be so? The fear of God is not there because you are you still in the flesh, and your eyes have not opened to this glory. People over there are saying “wonderful” but you are in the presence of God and nothing moves inside you?

But how did Korah convince these people? If they were careful as the scripture warns that you should suddenly lay hands on no man; if they were careful as the scripture says you should not easily take sides but check out facts, Korah would not have succeeded in the lives of the nobles. They were not careful; that was why they took sides with Korah. They joined Korah to challenge a godly man. They complained, “You have gone too far; the Lord is with all His people. Why have you magnified yourself over us?” Moses was so shocked that iniquity was in such a holy place that he fell on his face. He wondered, “You mean with all the presence of God this type of imagination would still be in the heart of these people? The pillar of fire leading us in the night; the pillar of cloud leading us in the day, you are still carnal? You are not seeing the presence of God; you are not reading the ways of God; the grace of God given to us; the choice of God. Are you not seeing these?” Watch your steps in HOREMOW so that you don’t step out of God’s great grace.

Thought for the day: The Spirit of God is leading and guiding us in HOREMOW. Follow Him.

Song for the day: Follow, follow, I will follow Jesus, anywhere……

Bible reading for the day: Proverbs 25-27; 2 Corinthians 6

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
