THE FOOD OF A SPIRITUAL PERSON IS THE WORD OF GOD

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: THE FOOD OF A SPIRITUAL PERSON IS THE WORD OF GOD      September Thursday 17th

TEXT: Psalm 19:7-11

KEY VERSE: Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

A spiritual person is given to the word. He studies it and obeys it.  He listens to it because the word is the delight of his life. The food of the spiritual man is the word of God. I received a call from someone who said, “Pastor I am hungry, I am very hungry for the word of God.” May you eat to satisfaction in Jesus name.  Blessed are those that thirst and hunger for righteousness for they shall be filled. Thy word was found and I did eat it, Thy word was in my mouth as honey. That is my pleasure. That is what gives me joy.

I am so happy to find Thy word, I rejoice in Thy word, like someone who has discovered much treasure that he is carrying home. My eyes have opened. It has enlightened me, like electric charge in my life. The delight of Thy word is so great that I swim in it and lie in it with great joy. That is the joy of a spiritual man telling God, “Don’t take away Thy word from me, I want to study it, I want to live it, I want to listen to it. He says, speak for Thy servant heareth. It is the delight of my life. It is the joy of my life; in the day, in the night and every moment.” That is the spiritual man. The natural man does not know this. He complains that the message is too long.

Psalm 119:9-11, 17-18 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10  With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. 18  Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Keeping it is a pleasure and it is a joy to practice it. What a wonderful thing to enjoy the power of the word, to enjoy the blessing of the word. The spiritual man is always longing for more of the word of God. Your clothes shall be white, your heart shall be pure, your life shall be sanctified by the power of the word, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
