DON’T STRUGGLE FOR POSITION IN HOLINESS MOVEMENT

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: DON’T STRUGGLE FOR POSITION IN HOLINESS MOVEMENT   September Tuesday 22nd

TEXT: Numbers 16:5-11

KEY VERSE: Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Pray that you will understand Holiness Revival Movement well. Pray that you won’t see politics in this work or in the choice of leadership. Rather, you will see God and view things with spiritual eye and understand things in a spiritual way. When Korah and his companions rebelled against Moses’ leadership, he was pained. The Lord was the one that said he should separate the children of Levi to serve in the temple and this was precisely what he did. Why then was Korah not satisfied with his divinely ordained role? The Lord gave him this grace and he thought it was a small thing, so he began to look for the priesthood also.

He gathered the mighty but foolish men; men who were dead in their heart, dark in their heart, men who didn’t know the God they were serving. They gathered together under political power and said that they were fighting a just cause. Moses said, “Alright, we shall go back to the presence of the Lord. Let us hear God who spoke and made the choice, in case you didn’t hear the first time. Politics is not in this matter; we would know whom the Lord will choose.” Satan will choose to be in every place to destroy people. He worked on angels in perfect heaven, how much more where sinful men are? If you don’t handle Satan well, he will put an end to the godly thing the Lord is doing. You must learn how to handle Satan well.

Accept whatever position the Lord has called you into, maybe as chapter or unit leader. Don’t struggle for position in HOREMOW. James, John and their mother came to Jesus, “Give us what we are looking for. Put one of us in your right hand side and the other in your left hand side in your Kingdom.” Jesus then told them, “You don’t know what you are asking. It is not for Me to give. It is given to whom my Father wills to give.”

Therefore, don’t struggle for position in your respective places. If you rebel and plot the removal of that coordinator, there is little possibility you will succeed him. In fact, throughout your stay in that place you may not become a coordinator. The Lord makes his choice and he will continue to make his choice. Let us calm down and not allow Satan in our way. Appreciate the mercy God shows you to bring you to a place like this where you can hear the true word.

Thought for the day: Serve with joy and thanksgiving, wherever God has placed you.

Song for the day: Let the Lord have His way, let the Lord have His way, put your hands in His hands……

Bible reading for the day: Song of Solomon 4-5; 2 Corinthians 13

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
