TOPIC: PRISCILLA’S ACQUAINTANCE WITH PAUL         October Friday 4th
TEXT: Acts 18:1-3
KEY VERSE: Acts 18: 2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
Paul, the Apostle became acquaintance with Aquila and Priscilla in Corinth, when he came there for gospel work. He stayed there due to a professional commonality that attracted him with them. In other words, they were tentmakers by profession. They spent a couple of days for quite a long period. It is today like the Apostle Paul coming to your town and living with you and your family in the same house. Paul, the apostle was a nobleman of wisdom, full of grace, insight, compassion, great calling, and sold out for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Living in the same house and compound with such a personality was viewed as a great privilege by Priscilla. She grabbed that privilege and didn’t joke or toy with it. In a similar account, the shunammite woman perceived Elisha as not an ordinary man but a great Prophet of God that deserved to be treated with respect. She said to her husband that I perceived that this is a holy man of God when Elisha was passing by their house on a regular basis. The Shunammite woman together with her husband agreed to provide housing for Elisha in their house for a while. Elisha’s presence in that house turned the situation of the woman by having a child after many years of bareness. Unlike Priscilla, she was not barren but rather her hunger for God received satisfaction. She took advantage of her friendly interaction with the Apostle Paul. In a similar note, people of all status should take advantage to respect the true ministers of the gospel in the Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) regardless of their familiarity with them. People should take advantage of the truth that comes out of these true ministers of the gospel in order to be blessed. It will be likewise foolish of one to be married to a true minister of God and then miss the opportunity to enter heaven. Priscilla remains a good example when she allowed herself to be mentored by the Apostle Paul. This happened when Paul was residing at her house in Corinth and took advantage of that opportunity together with Aquila.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
