KEY VERSE: 1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
QUESTION: How can a believer differentiate between true and false revelation messages because there are some with conflicting messages especially on how women should handle their hair?
ANSWER: (Part 1)
Let me clear this case with us. There are people who believe or who think that all these people who profess that Jesus has appeared to them or has taken them to heaven and hell or given them revelations, you are all thinking that they are members of Holiness Revival Movement or that they are Ministers in Holiness Revival Movement. It is not so. There are some of these people who are on their own. Some of them we invited them maybe will wanted to carry them along but they are interested to be on their own. Some of them are not willing to submit themselves to Holiness Revival Movement. Some of them, we ourselves don’t want them to come to Holiness Revival Movement because we judge their testimonies to be false not from Jesus.
The one she is talking about concerns one Kingsley Ubani. At first I read his book and I tried inviting him. I discovered later on that those things were likely to be manipulations because he was not willing to submit himself to be examined by Holiness Revival Movement and we are not asking everybody to submit to us. We now came to examine his writings and revelations and his personal Christian life we saw that they have nothing to do with Jesus. I know when Kingsley came out with his revelation and made women to start cutting their hair. He affected so many women especially in the eastern side. They began to cut their hair and started looking like men and that is not scriptural because the Bible says it is a shame for a woman to have her hair cut. The Bible the long hair is given to the woman for her glory. The Lord will not give a revelation that is contradictory to His word.
So the same thing, I think it may be in this book my sister that he has also written that those in the paramilitary and military will be going to hell fire for using weapons because whoever kills for whatever cause will go to hell. That was the voice of Satan that wants to bring confusion to the people of God.
