TOPIC: THE HISTORY OF HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT (PART 2)                 October Thursday 24th
TEXT: 1 John 2: 12-14
KEY VERSE: 1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
A spiral bound copy of the revelation message was given to the General Superintendent through his wife, and another copy through the church secretary. I hoped that by his personal interaction with Michael Sambo and reading the revelation message, he might believe that God was involved in it and would allow it to spread freely. However, when we met with him and I introduced Michael Sambo and the revelation he had received from the Lord Jesus Christ, he was sceptical and said, when Lazarus was raised from dead he did not come with revelation message. He however said he would read the revelation message we had submitted to him and told Michael Sambo to continue with his study and not to leave his school because he has received revelation message. When I returned from my mission country about a year later, having completed the book for printing, I met with him and enquired whether he had read the copy I gave him. At this time he openly declared “We preach the Bible and not revelation encounter, tell him to stop it”. At this point I ceased from planning to publish the book. This was in January 2008.
Within the month, my late wife sis Edna Rika was diagnosed of cancer and we were directed to University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital for the treatment. We stayed in one of the mission buildings of the church in Ibadan. In the course of my prayer with my late wife, we agreed to give a sum of money to God. By the guidance of God, this money was used to make photocopies of Christ’s revelation to seven Columbian youth and the manuscript of the book, Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment to distribute freely to people. The testimonies received were great especially on Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment. God began to deal with me to print the book. I expressed fear because of the opposition of church leadership but He assured me that He would be with me.
Being encouraged, I published the book.  The book did great work for God within and outside Nigeria. The eyes of many opened to Biblical truth, Righteousness and holiness required for heaven. At the same time great persecution arose against me in Deeper Life Bible Church. A committee of four state and national overseers of the ministry was set up to question me on the publication of the book.
Thought for the day: The book opened the eyes of many to Biblical truth, Righteousness and holiness required for heaven.
Song for the day: Open my eyes O Lord
Bible reading for the day:
Jeremiah 11-13; 1 Timothy 4

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
