TOPIC: THE NEED FOR MARITAL COUNSELING.        October Monday 7th
TEXT: Genesis 2:18-25
KEY VERSE: James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

This is the original plan of God for marriage – for the couples to live pleasurable, peaceful, enjoyable family life, where two of them will spend their time naked before one another without shame. That is being opened to one another without secret. This is oneness indeed. This is why God set the solitary in families, Psalms 68:6a, so they can have true companionship together. The ideal situation is the husband working very hard to satisfy the wife in everything and the wife striving to please the husband and help him in every area. A life of harmony, without quarrel, secrecy, bickering, hatred, malice, bitterness etc
The family of Adam and Eve progressed blissfully and joyfully before the devil intruded subtly. After the fall of Adam and Eve, however the story changed. Things fell apart, accusation, self defense, shifting blame on one another etc. This is the case of marriages in the world. But God expects the marriage of the redeemed to be different as their life is supposed to return to the original state- the image of God, Today, we see marriages of the believers where the couples instead of enjoying their marriage, are enduring in such marriage, one of the couple may have backslidden and living a carnal life that is hurting the partner. Such couples should not live and die in silence, that is why this topic is being treated to point out to couples that God has provided able men and materials for healing their marriages in order to make it to heaven. Such marriages must be healed.
Your marriage can be the gate to heaven or hell. Do not think that maintaining a happy and holy marital life is optional, because going to heaven for you depends on it. So work hard to sustain a harmonious pleasurable marriage by prayer, studying and meditating on the scriptures, regular fellowship with brethren, consulting able men in counselling when your marriage is hurting you beyond your power and equipping yourself with relevant, holy materials.
Thought for the day: Your marriage can be the gate to heaven or hell
Song for the day: Dwelling together, how happy we shall be....

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
