TOPIC: LET US BELIEVE AND PRACTICE THE SAME THING IN HOLINESS MOVEMENT
TEXT: Titus 3:10-11
KEY VERSE: 2Thessalonians 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed
Let us believe the same thing. Let us have the same judgement. Let us practice the same thing. The spirit of division is not healthy for any institution. All these people who write on internet saying, “I saw a revelation from God;” did they actually see revelation? Is it not a game they are playing? Did God confirm to you that He gave them revelation or you are just following them? You want to believe everybody that says he saw revelation? Does that not make you a spiritual infant being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine? Jesus said he that will believe, that will do My word will know whether I am sent by My Father or not. Practice the word; the word itself will convince you that these things we are teaching in Holiness Movement are from God. Get to know this truth by yourself and hold fast to it.
Romans 16:17-18 “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” “Mark them” means observe attentively, cautiously, and faithfully; be on your guard against them. Ascertain “who are” the real causes of the divisions springing up in the church and avoid them. “By good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple!” There are people who have much to say, people who are naturally gifted in speech. They would speak and you would be moved. These ones can easily move unsuspecting people away from the path of eternal life. They begin to preach against the doctrines of truth and you may not know. This could be your pastor. They water down the truth. Can you make spiritual progress outside the truth of God? No progress can come since you have not discerned the truth, you have not known what truth to stand on, you have not held firmly to the truth of eternal life. You need to be very careful. The Bible says you should avoid such people.
