TOPIC: DESIRE THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL HEALTH
TEXT: Psalm 19:7-10
KEY VERSE: Psalm 119:93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

As food is good for physical growth and nourishment, so is the word of God good for a healthy spiritual life. In 1 Peter 2:2 the Bible says “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” Desire it, look for it; that sincere milk of the Spirit, the true milk that contains the nutrients required by your soul – the word of God. Nutrients required for spiritual strength, for your spiritual living, desire it! It is as you desire it that you will seek for it and buy it – the word of God, the truth of God. Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. It is as you desire the sincere milk of the word that you will discover conferences and Christian gatherings where truth is preached. Are you born again? Seek for the truth of scripture that help you to preserve your salvation. As a child without food dies, so will a born again without sincere milk of the word of God die spiritually. Desire it!

Many who are born again go to churches that don’t know God or His truth; they go and die there. Physically, they jump all over the place, but spiritually, they are dead people. Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. They go and die because the word is not there, the sincere milk, the pure milk of the word is not there. But as for you, if you are born again and are really looking for God, go for the true word, desire it, then the Lord will take you to where you will get it. Be sincere! Others are not; many people are not sincere. Desire the sincere milk of the word for it is by it you will grow; it is by it you will be established. That is what the word of God is telling you today.

Thought for the day: By His word you are quickened.
Song for the day:    Something more than gold. Something more than honey.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
