TOPIC: BEWARE OF LOSING A GREAT MINISTER
TEXT:  Numbers 12:1-10
KEY VERSE: 2Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Moses was a man God spoke with face-to-face and he beheld the similitude of the Lord. In today’s Bible reading, we see how God rebuked Mariam and Aaron for their insubordination to His chosen vessel. He asked both of them why they were not afraid to speak against His servant Moses, whom He speaks with not in parables or dark speeches like other men, but mouth-to-mouth as he beheld the similitude of the Lord. In His instant judgment, Mariam became leprous. Brother, sister, be careful under the ministry of a man chosen by God. Why was Mariam and Aaron speaking against God’s anointed as if they had the privilege of special birth or special encounter with God as Moses? With Moses, God spoke mouth-to-mouth and through him Israelites got new messages every day. Is it from every minister you can have that privilege? Why couldn’t they respect Moses that was God’s special vessel? God got angry and judgment followed.

Paul lived holy and his followers were witnesses. What then were the charges of people against him? 1 Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also , how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe. He was specially chosen and anointed to unravel the mystery of the gospel. Ephesians 3:1-6 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

What happened to people that forsook him like Demas? Thank God Barnabas and John came back. Beware of losing a great minister. There are people who counted the blood of Jesus foolishness. Be careful that your heart does not despise that which is for your good.

Thought for the day:  Don’t forsake your holy minister, but serve him faithfully and diligently.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
