TOPIC: DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE OF PERSECUTIONS
TEXT: 1Theselonians 3:1-5
KEY VERSE: John 6:67, 68 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Don’t be like children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine whereby you listen to everything everybody says and go off course as if that is what you have been waiting for. If you see your presence in Holiness Revival Movement as imprisonment, it means you have all along been looking for the exit door. It means all the while you have been an unwilling member. In that case, why did you stay at all since you never believed the teachings? My brother, my sister, I can tell you assuredly that you are not in the wrong place. Holiness Revival Movement is not a prison. We are free men and women here. We are people of liberty, walking in the liberty of Christ. No, we are not in prison! We willingly love this word, these teachings and submitted to them because we believed them. Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. It did not come by force or compulsion. Praise the Lord! Therefore, you must not allow anybody to come with any threatening revelation or contrary teachings.
The devil wants to make your labour to be in vain. He comes to tempt you so that you can throw away these things. Sometimes, it comes through heavy persecution that makes you start thinking of submitting by saying to yourself, “Okay, since my husband does not want me to continue in these things, there is nothing I can do. I have to submit to his wish to give peace a chance and to protect my marriage.” Is your husband greater than God? Probably your own excuse is, “Oh, it is my work place. They say if we don’t dress like this we cannot be effective sales representatives.” Are your husband and boss not human beings? You mean all these years you have not understood the supremacy of Jesus Christ? You have not understood the value of your soul? You have not understood heaven and hell and you allow these things to move you? Sufferings are moving you? Is suffering enough to make you throw away the truth? Is it enough to terminate your Christian life? Heaven is not for cowards and the feeble-minded. Understand the truth you have received and remain steadfast to the end, no matter the provocations.
Thought for the day: Never give up on truth no matter the degree of persecution.
Song for the day: I must go with Jesus everywhere, no matter the roughness of the road….
Bible reading for the day:
Job 38-39; Acts 15:1-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
