RESTORE THE MAN HIS WIFE
MONDAY FEBRUARY 5
TEXT: Genesis 20:2-18.
Key verse: “And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.” Matthew 19:9
Remember Abraham and his wife got married when they had not known the Lord. But the Lord has chosen them as vessels by which righteousness will fill the earth. Satan battled to disrupt this plan of God. Satan was the one that pushed Abimelech to desire Sarah and Abraham said something that was not true. At the point that Sarah was been removed from Abraham, sin had already been passed on Abimelech and in the book of records, death was written against him. The mercy of God began to work to see how to recover this man and God came to him in a dream. If you are in a wrong marriage as a second wife or second husband; repent and do restitution immediately. Beware of giving excuses, because the devil will resist you strongly for your damnation. If you play over the Lord’s intelligence by rejecting His mercies in this life you will see His judgment hereafter.
Make diligent effort to ensure that your spouse was not previously married. Do not marry a divorcee because only death can separate marriage union. If you have been living in ignorance you are already a dead man. Divine mercy is now available; correct whatever you have done wrongly. Separate from the wrong marriage partner and return to your first lawfully married spouse. Don’t mind what people are saying, follow the truth. The truth is in the bible and the Holy Spirit does the interpretation. Some cases of marriage restitutions require scriptural counselling and guidance from holy and matured ministers to avoid errors. Note that dowry payment is not the only determinant but parental consent and mutual acceptance and cleaving together as one flesh in marital consummation are also important factors to consider in ascertaining the status of a Christian marriage. Turning to the right hand, that is the narrow way, is a decision you make while you are alive. The course of your life on earth will decide for you when you die. Do all to show that you have understood the gospel. Do not allow carnal considerations such as care or custody of children, landed property, material things, societal pressure or family influence to delay or prevent you from doing marriage restitution, especially when the mind of God on that matter has been made clear to you. It may end in eternal regret and damnation.
Thought for the day: Do all to show that you have understood the gospel
Song for the day: I have chosen the way

Bible reading for the day: Exodus 37-38; Matthew 23:23-39

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
