VICTORY OVER ACCUSSATION AND BLACKMAIL SUNDAY FEBRUARY 25
TEXT: 1 PETER 4:12-16, 19
Key verse:  “5 Open rebuke is better than secret love. 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Proverb 27:5-6

Christian victory is in Christ. There is an adage that you can give a dog a bad name in order to kill it. Satan, through his agents can give you a bad name in order to destroy you or your ministry but God will give you victory. Nothing will silence HOREMOW. When you accused God you are promoting the course of the devil, demons and the occult world.
(i) Some accusations are true. True accusations should be received for your salvation and the believer should take corrective measures and change. They say you borrow and don’t pay and you are angry instead of repenting. Some of your accusers may be raw but repent. Turn to Jesus and receive salvation and healing. Your name has been spoiled, turn to Jesus, he will repair your name. He changed Saul’s to Paul, Mary Magdalene promoted to the announcer of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. You must accept reality and confess it so that God will show you mercy else your punishment shall be too terrible.
(ii) Some accusations are not true but works of evil men. They planned it to give you, your family/ministry bad name but God will turn it to your glory as Joseph. Potiphar’s wife labelled evil against him but his truth took him from prison to become governor in Egypt. In John 7:12, 20 Jesus your Saviour was also accused when He came to this world. Don’t join others to disdain God.
(iii) Things to bear in mind when you are accused: (a) Righteous people suffer accusation on earth but shall rejoice in heaven (Matthew 5:10-12) while the sinners suffer double –accused or killed on earth, yet they still go to hell to suffer, it is a pity. (b) The ministry of Jesus suffered blackmail, there was false accusation against the apostles and Christ’s resurrection (Matthew 27: 62-66) (c) In the midst of accusation, know what to do: Don’t be afraid because it is the tactics of the enemy, your God will do something about it. Be quiet and calm, it will exalt God Glory is following that accusation. Seek the face of God in prayer, Jesus did so. Find out whether it is God that allowed that to happen. If so, be calm and commit your soul to your creator for His will to be done. Seek counsel through His word and ministers. Don’t speak foolishly, in all this, Job did not accuse God. Maintain righteousness so that Satan will not use it to affect your righteousness. Accept the consequences, if the will of God is so. If God allowed accusation on you wrongly. It is to your promotion and glory of God.

Thought for the day: The righteous suffer on earth but shall rejoice in heaven
Song for the day: When we get to heaven, at the marriage supper
Bible reading for the day:
Numbers 14-15; Mark 6:1-32

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
