THE GREAT COMMISSION IS FOR ALL DISCIPLES  FRIDAY FEBRUARY 2
TEXT: Mark 16: 15-20.
Key verse: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the father, son and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28: 19, 20

The woman is a disciple of the Lord Jesus and shares in the responsibilities of the great commission or command given in the scripture. By the above scripture, she is expected to do the following:
(i) go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature;
(ii) baptize those who believe in the Lord Jesus among them;
(iii) having signs following her ministry: Speaking in tongues, casting out devils, taking poison without hurt, matching on serpent without hurt, laying hands on the sick and they will recover and
(iv) the Lord Jesus Christ works with women disciples who obey this command to confirm their words with signs following.
The two aspects of the great commission includes: the preaching to bring converts and teaching converts to make disciples. Both men and women are given this charge. This is compared with the process of making soup which can be divided into other smaller chores for efficiency and speed but all in the one whole lively church of God. The great commission is the commands, task, portfolio and assignment God gave to every believer in this dispensation of grace.
If God leads a woman to rise up and start a church or ministry in a community where there is no gospel, she should arise to obey the Lord's commission on her. However, a woman who is in an established church where men function should submit herself under authority and function as she is assigned without contention. A woman's gift will certainly make a way for her and bring her before great men. The scripture authorizes the Christian woman to preach the gospel in order to raise disciples for Christ wherever she is. She is always authorized to teach the converts and the ignorant disciples all the word of God. The Lord has promised to be with her if she faithfully engages in this commission. But the Christian woman minister should learn how to work among men with all subjection, holiness and understanding. The authority of a man should not be absorbed at any time.

Thought of the day: Go into the world and preach the gospel, the Lord is with you always.
Song of the day: I live for Jesus day after day
Bible reading for the day:
Exodus 29-30; Matthew 22:1-22

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
