TOPIC:  THE ETERNAL DOOM OF A CARELESS PREACHER.   THURSDAY AUGUST 31
TEXT:  1 JOHN 2:15-17
KEY VERSE: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” (Revelation 16:15).

Still at the gate of heaven, Michael Thomas Sambo narrated the pathetic story of a careless preacher. He said:

Right there at the gate with Jesus a preacher died that Saturday, 26th April, 2003, between 1.00-4:00 pm and was coming towards the gate. Afar off when I saw him he was dressed in white. This is the garment of Truth, Righteousness, and Holiness which Christ gives believers. From the place I was standing, I could not see any spot on him. He was coming toward the gate of heaven with excitement. He wanted to walk in through the gate. But the angels shouted at him and commanded him to stop. He was asked, “Where are you going to?” “I want to enter into heaven,” he replied.

At this time, Jesus fastened his eyes on him and said:

“When I saved you from your sins, I gave you a garment of Righteousness and Holiness of life. I warned you against defiling this garment. Your garment is now spotted with the world. This is not the garment I gave you when I saved you”

“The Father is Holy, I am holy, the Spirit is holy; the angels are holy, the saints in heaven are holy, all living creatures in heaven are holy. Above all, heaven has been dedicated unto holy living. Nothing that is defiled, or that worketh abomination or that telleth or loveth a lie shall in any wise enter into it. Therefore man, you cannot enter into heaven.”

From today's account we see that it is wise to fear God. Don't claim to be too familiar with GOD, His ways or His word. You must daily examine yourself whether you are still in the faith.

Thought for the day:  Don’t take your salvation for granted. Self-examine your life.
Song for the day: I want to live eternal life, Lord save my soul.
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 145-147; 1 Corinthians 11:1-15

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
