For taking your time to study remain blessed. TOPIC: REVELATION ON ETERNAL DESTINATION OF TROUSER-WEARING WOMEN. MONDAY JULY 10 TEXT: PSALM 9:16-17 KEY VERSE: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man … For all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God…” (Deuteronomy 22:5). God in His mercy gave divine revelation to some chosen ones among men in our generation. Some of these were taken to hell to hear some of the things that condemned people to it. They had opportunity to speak with some victims of hell. Some of the women now in hell confessed that their use of trousers when they were alive on earth was one of the things that condemned them to everlasting hell fire. Some of these were ignorant of this evil until they died and entered hell, while some knew the truth, but hardened their hearts. We are not told what nation or race of people those women now in hell for their trousers-wearing were. Hence no nation or race of people is exempted from this offence. Women of every race and nation must run away from the use of trousers. Again, the women condemned to hell for using trousers did not specify which type of trousers they used, masculine or feminine. Hence all kinds of trousers must be avoided by women desiring to escape hell and enter heaven. Our scriptural examination has already revealed the evil in women using trousers. Divine revelations only served to confirm scriptural truth. Believers must put away traditions and customs of men that go contrary to the scripture, and hold to scriptural position on all things, including dress code. Revelation 22:14-16; says, “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star”. It is now a fashion for men to move about with shorts. Some make long journey in shorts. This is not the custom with men in our day but came as a fashion. When a mature adult or a noble man is seen in shorts in a public place, he portrays himself as an ignoble person. Believers bear the image of Christ and the word of eternal life and so must avoid rough and ignoble appearance as this, which can make people offended at them and at the gospel they carry. They should also preach it to other Christians so they can avoid spending eternity in hell. Thought for the day: Purify yourself, inwardly and outwardly.
