TOPIC: HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE FOR THE WORLDLY, NOT GODLY WOMEN. FRIDAY JULY 28
TEXT: 1 John 2:15-17
KEY VERSE: James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Ephesians 2:1-3
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
The ungodly woman applies many things on her hair for charming beauty and attraction. The following must not be indulged in by believers: perming, Jerry curling, hair attachment, weaveon, barbing of hair, dyeing of hair, use of wool, use of fashionable thread, and worldly styles of hair dressing. The long hair is given to the women for her glory, while the man's dignity is in maintaining short hair. A woman appearing with trimmed or cut hair is a woman that has lost her natural glory given her by God.
Many women complain over their hair, claiming it is strong and tough. Thank God, some women, who are determined to keep the word of God, have been seen good and simple way to make the hair soft and natural. Seek counsel. Do not plait ornaments or beads into your hair or that of your children. Some women, in the spirit of worldliness turn simple threat into attachment. This is an abuse to their righteousness. Artificial hairdo of all kinds makes one a liar against the truth.
Romans 1:24, 25
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie.
Do not join the women of the world in living a lie to their eternal damnation.
Thought for the day: Stop flirting with the world.
Song for the day: Create in me a clean heart, O Lord.
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 53-55; Acts 27:26-44

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
