TOPIC: THERE IS NO SALVATION IN ANY OTHER NAME. FRIDAY JULY 21
TEXT: JOHN 3:16-18
KEY VERSE: Key Verse: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men; whereby we must be saved”.(Acts 4:12).

God is the source of salvation. He is the foundation and basis of man's salvation. He accomplished the salvation of man in Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. The salvation of man was the main reason why Christ came to the world. The Bible says “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.” The apostles stressed the invariability of salvation through Jesus when they said, “Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Only Jesus possesses the divine ability and authority to give salvation to man. Christ is the sole source of our salvation via His sinless life and His substitutionary atonement. He shed his blood for the remission of our sins. Only a perfect, complete and incorruptible righteousness can secure a perfect and complete salvation and this we find in Christ.

The ground of salvation is a righteousness that satisfies God's justice and this is found only in Jesus. Jesus saith, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. He is the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. There is no access to the Father except through Christ. With respect to their merit, with respect to their personal righteousness, all men are classified as having: “sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” How, then, are sinners justified? How, then, are sinners declared righteous? The sinner is justified, in spite of his lack of merit, in spite of his condemnation, by God's grace wherein God supplies the needed righteousness in His son and accepts what is supplied in His son on the sinner's behalf.

However, appropriation of the salvation brought by Christ involves the sinner's response. We are justified by faith. This faith is not faith in self-justification, but faith directed toward Christ. It is accepting, receiving and resting upon Christ alone for salvation.

Thought for the day: Only Jesus can save!
Song for the day: Oh hallelujah, salvation is from God alone…
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 34-35; Acts 22

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
