TEXT: MARK 10:46-49
46. And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimæus, the son of Timæus, sat by the highway side begging.
47. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 

KEY VERSE: NUMBERS 33:52 “Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places”.

God is interested in the youths and as a result He is calling on them to surrender fully to Him. This is a great call with eternal reward, therefore cooperate with the leader God has given us in this ministry, Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide. The youths are distracted by many things in life. The peerage and material things of life.

If you understand that Jesus is the owner of HOREMOW and is the one calling you to work for Him, you will shun all distractions. The blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, when he heard that Jesus of Nazareth was the one passing his way, he cried out for Jesus to have mercy on him. All attempts, even from the disciples of Jesus could not distract him. 

At the end, Jesus responded and he received his sight. Do not allow anyone, even among the overseers to distract you from standing on the holy course. Those who are determined to overcome the tactics of Satan must focus their attention on Jesus. When Jesus called the blind Bartimaeus he did something worth emulating. He cast away his garment, rose up and went to Jesus. 

You must cast away those things weighing you down in sin. You must dissociate from evil friends, those who want to discourage you by telling you that the cost of holiness is too high. They are agents of darkness who will want to find fault with your stand in God or in the leadership of the movement in order to remove you.

Also, God has recruited you into His holy service, get rid of past memories, be dead to self: you must destroy all past pictures taken in sin. Remove all the long nails, bushy Mustache, dreadlocks and any defiling thing and be clean to please God.

Thought for the day: Now that you are a new creature, get rid of evil associates.
