What Is Required Of A Godly Widow
Wednesday 10th June
Text: Exodus 19:5
Key Verse: Revelation 3:20. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with Me.”
For you to be a happy and joyful widow, whose husband is her master, you need to invite Jesus into your life. Enter into an arrangement with Jesus to be married to Him as a widow. Tell Him you have accepted Him to take over your life and control your life. Just as you handed over your life to a man, you are handing it over, much more to Jesus Christ. Therefore, in your agreement with God as a widow, if you will obey His word truly and keep His agreement, He has promised to replace your husband and to give you special attention. That is what the Lord is saying to you. All you need to know is to say, “Lord Jesus, I am for You. I have given myself to You. I have agreed to marry and serve You. I will follow You and do all You want me to do.” Then, He will change your life. You will go with Jesus everywhere in your life. You will come to testify that you did not know that life with Jesus is wonderful like this. You will sing songs of amazement and joy. Tell Jesus to come into your life and change you. Let Him take over and give you peace.
You are making a covenant with God. A marriage is taking place between you and Jesus now as you submit to Him. He is taking over from your husband, care and provide for you until the end. Now, tell Jesus, “Jesus, I surrender my life to You. I want You to save me from my sin. I want to be born again. Make me righteous in Jesus’ name Amen.” Purpose in your heart not to defile yourself, maintain strong faith in God, abstain from immorality, have total submission and obedience to the word of God, keep yourself pure and holy. The Lord will take good care of you.
Thought For The Day: He is able to care for you to the end.
