Many Christians Are Ignorant Of The Narrow Way

Thursday 11th June 

Text: Matthew 7:13-14
Key Verse: Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Many are not even aware of what awaits them at the end of life. Some play religion without understanding anything about the true God; they lack accurate knowledge about God. When we look at the Muslims, they are very zealous and fervent in their ways; some are even our friends, brothers, sisters and colleagues. In that religion, we know very well that there is no eternal life. Among the Christians, some play Christianity and denominationalism without salvation from sin through Christ.  They profess to be Christians but are not saved. They are not aware that there are many things to be done more than the ceremonial rites which they observe in the church. They have been baptised, take Holy Communion, pay tithes and participate in every other activity in the church like singing, dancing, and Bible reading. They do not know any other thing. Many are labouring in denominations but lack practical Christianity. Others are engaged in ministry without the knowledge of the word of God. 
Their understanding is unfruitful. Many who claim to be on the way to heaven are on the broad way to destruction, being ignorant of the narrow way. They claim to have known the gospel of Jesus and are even preaching to others, labouring for their salvation but they do not know the way of holiness. They do not know the narrow way of life. They are not aware of true Christian standards, yet they are very busy chasing shadows. Among these, you see women in trousers and ungodly dressing, having unnatural hairdos, perming, attachment, lips painting, short skirts, being fervent in the church, serving as workers. You see men in their ungodly attires, decked with jewellery, observing twenty-one days fasting, going from place to place for crusades, and preaching. You see a man that is very fervent, spending much for crusades, going out to win souls but looking into his marriage, he is now with the third wife.  They are not aware of the righteousness and holiness in Christ.
