Satan’s Schemes In Wrong Use Of Internet, Television And Computers
Monday 15th June
Text: 2 Timothy 2:19-22
Key Verse: Psalms 119: 37-38 “Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.”
The devil has devised many hurtful schemes to damn souls through the misuse of internet. These include; Pornography, Fraud, Cyber Crimes, Junk mails, Portal for Witchcraft and cultism, Sports Betting and Gambling, Dating and Immoral relationships, Worldly Amusements and Entertainments, Identity Theft and Internet Addiction. We shall consider an excerpt from a divine revelation encounter as presented in the book titled, Escaping Hellfire And Entering Heaven Made Simple, by Pastor Paul Rika, the International Director of Holiness Revival Ministry Worldwide. Satan said, “I am still in the business of inventing things that can take away the attention of the believers from heaven. I am the brain behind Computer, Internet and Television. Today, on the internet and computer, pornography is promoted. You can find the pictures of naked men and women. When holy people watch these things, they get into their hearts and pollute them; their holiness is destroyed and they become unfit for heaven. I also introduced some programs on the Television just to destroy holiness in the lives of people and make them unfit for heaven.”
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walk about, seeking whom he may devour.
Songs of Solomon 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
Psalms 119: 37-38 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken Thou me in Thy way. Stablish Thy word unto Thy servant, who is devoted to Thy fear.
