Proclaim The Good News Everywhere

Saturday 13th June 

Text: 2 Kings 7:3-6
Key Verse:  2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
The four lepers went out by faith to the camp of the Syrians and brought back good news to the city. The four lepers said, “Let us go to the camp of the Syrians. If they kill us, let us die. If they spare us, then they shall give us food” they went, by the grace of God.  And these lepers said to one another, “Come, we are eating, drinking, rejoicing and celebrating but our people are perishing in the city and eating one another.” 
Let us tell others the good news of abundant grace we have discovered.
“This day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.” These are the days of glad tidings, the days to announce the discovery of righteousness and of the true gospel. Let us go and tell the king's household. If we tarry, mischief will come upon us. How many people have been eaten up in the churches?  Now see the mercy that the Lord showed to you in that church where you were. Did you know Jesus? Did you know the truth, righteousness and holiness in the church where you were? Sincerely speaking, was your name in the Book of Life? Did you know the principle of victory over sin? Was not Satan like the king of Syria standing at the door post of your house to ensure you never escaped? It took a miracle that connected you, opened your eyes, and now you are sitting down and fanning yourself as one that have escaped from the churches of doom. Now you can breathe in and out, and smile in holiness. You have confidence for entry into heaven now. You have done your restitutions but remember that those people you left in the region of condemnation are still there. People you sang with in the choir are still there and Satan is blocking their way. Pastors have no message for them. Their pastors do not know the truth. Do you value their souls? God wants you to do something about it. Brother and sister, you have delayed for too long.
