TEXT: LUKE 1: 5 – 7

Key verse: Luke 1: 45: And blessed is she that believeth: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord
There is hope for the barren and those stricken in an age that is desirous of having children if they remain faithful and believe in the miracle-working God. Elizabeth and Zachariah were both righteous before God and walked in the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless (verse 6). Many in our days today would have gone to seek help from Satan to get children, not knowing that God is in the knowledge of the situation for Divine Plan. God delayed childbearing to coincide with the coming of John the Baptist as the forerunner of Jesus Christ. For impatience, some have gone to the queen of the coast to collect children because of delay in childbearing thereby throwing away the good plan of God to have their children in His Divine plan. Such children end up as touts and miscreants.
Woman, how do you address challenges in your home? Do you use challenges to control your husband or disrespect him? Is it because he has lost his job and you are now the one providing for the home that makes you brag around and even cause the children and neighbors to disrespect him? Learn from Elizabeth who despite her promotion of being the mother of the forerunner of Christ still maintains respect for her husband and Mary. Woman, how are you preparing for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at the rapture? Elizabeth was in close relationship and contact with Mary the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ so that she will not lose focus. Are you holding on to truth, righteousness, and holiness or your focus is on worldliness? What are you doing about that anger, malice, strife, lies, fornication, adultery, second marriage, temptation, wavering faith, etc.? What about weave-on, attachments, earrings, trousers, and abominable adornments? Free yourself from satanic properties and attitudes and be rapture ready.

Thought for the day: Anyone with wavering faith obtains nothing from the Lord
