IS IT PROPER TO PLAIT THE HAIR WITH THREAD

God bless you for taking your time to study.

IS IT PROPER TO PLAIT THE HAIR WITH THREAD?
TEXT: ROMANS 12; 1-2      SATURDAY DECEMBER 17
Key verse: 1 Peter 1: 14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Should women plait or weave their hair? There is the braiding that is ungodly which worldly women do. When you see them you know that it is the spirit of the world. There is the hairdo of women professing godliness which has nothing to do with the fashions of the world. It does not affect the person who wears it. Satanic business is not there. She does not take glory in it at all. It does not entice people as a center of attraction. It is not done to achieve cosmetic beauty. It is only a way of dressing your hair. It is a kind of plaiting aimed at keeping the hair of women long. Plaiting your hair like that helps you to get this long hair that the bible says is a glory to women.
The people of the world use various methods on the hair to achieve beauty according to the fashions of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience. These are the harlots, the wayward, and the backsliders that walk according to the dictates of this world. If you see them, you should know them by their fruit. That which women do normally does not affect their Christian profession; the Lord is not fighting you on it. The microphone can be used to promote both good and evil. The use to which you put it shall be known by the fruit it produces. If a woman is allowed to keep her hair without plaiting, it won’t achieve the long hair that the Lord said is for her glory. What the Lord fights against is long artificial hair. The braided hair stands for this artificial hair. It is a word that stands for all corruptions of the hair which changes from one style to another through generations. At the time of writing the bible, the women were plaiting long gold-plaited hair with all kinds of substances attached to it as in the case of the mother of harlots in Revelation 17. Dressing to promote beauty for the purpose of immorality is what God is against. Any hairdo that is after the fashions of this world is forbidden.

Thought for the day: Conformity with the world makes you God’s enemy.

Song for the day: This world is not my home……

Bible reading for the day: Obadiah; Revelation 8

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
