DISCIPLINE YOUR CHILDREN

God bless you for taking your time to study.

DISCIPLINE YOUR CHILDREN

THURSDAY DECEMBER 15th

TEXT: PROVERBS 13: 24
Key verse: Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. (Proverbs 19:18)
God wants you to discipline your children in a godly way. Our today’s text is saying you should apply discipline to your child quite early in life. Do not be so merciful and compassionate that you cannot use a cane to beat your child. Your child is not too young to receive the cane; God who created the child says “I have put miracle power in the cane as I put miracle power in the rod of Moses. It will change your child.” Do not toy with the cane. Do not joke or take discipline with the cane casually.
Buy a cane and keep it in the house and let your child know about it. Tell your child to touch it, tell him “it is waiting for you, “and that child will be conscious of that cane. The word of God says that in beating the child you are demonstrating practical love for him, Christian parents must discipline their children in a godly way. Your motive must be pure. There must be no partiality between one child and the other. The cause of the chastisement must be clear to the child so that he does not see it as hatred and oppression.
Discipline the child while there is hope. Proverbs 19:18 “chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying”. There is a time when there will be no more hope; there is a time when there is nothing you can do to that child anymore. There is a time you will take the cane and he will despise it. Use the cane while the child is still afraid of it not when he will despise it.
Proverbs 22:15 “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him”

Thought for the day: Discipline your child early in life.

Sorry for the day: Come to Jesus, right now

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
