SCRIPTURAL PATTERN OF WATER BAPTISM

God bless you for taking your time to study.

SCRIPTURAL PATTERN OF WATER BAPTISM

TEXT: ACTS 8:26-38

 FRIDAY DECEMBER 23rd

Key verse: Mark 16:16-He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Water baptism is by single immersion. The word, ‘baptism’ means buried. It means you died and are buried with Christ and as you rise up from the water, you are rising with Christ to newness of life. This is symbolic; that you are identified with Jesus. Only those who have believed the gospel of Christ should be baptized. It is not for children. If you baptize them it has no meaning. Somebody who does not believe cannot be baptized. You may argue that you want them to serve God later. Pray for them and wait till they believe the gospel else there is nothing you can do about it. Do not baptize infants and children because you will confuse them.
Now look at this evil doctrine as it plays out. When the infants grow up afterward, rather than teaching them the word of salvation to receive Christ so that they can believe and be properly baptized, they rather go for confirmation. These are the doctrines of devils that confuse people and lead them to damnation. Which scripture do you refer to? These are traditions and doctrines of men that have no light in them. Some get born again later and rather than submit to proper baptism, they argue that they were baptized as children. Did you know Jesus then? Were you convicted of your sins? That is not scriptural baptism.
If you are now born again, go and be baptized and do not respect the errors of your churches and ministers. Save your lives. The Lord is not going to judge you based on the name of your church but His judgment will be according to His word. Proud persons shall be rejected. If you are proud, you are rejected by God already. God is a humble Person, and He is teaching you humility that you should humble yourself and be saved. That is the word of God and the teaching of righteousness.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
