TOPIC: HOLINESS MOVEMENT IS STANDING IN THE GAP FOR NIGERIA
Text: Psalm 113: 1-9
Key verse: Psalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
The Lord has revealed through many infallible proofs that He has chosen to use Nigeria for revival of righteousness, holiness and truth in Christianity in this end time. This revival has started already through Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide, with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The devil’s strategy has been to disrupt, scatter and quench the fire of Christianity in Nigeria through any means possible. Sadly, the devil succeeded over many churches and denominations in turning them off the narrow way, using false prophets, false doctrines, operation of witches, wizards, marine agents, including governmental and non-governmental agencies and various other strategies. The Islamization agenda has become an open secret. But the Lord has assured believers that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.
HOREMOW in Nigeria embarked on a successful 2-week Save Christianity Project as directed by the Lord through our International Director, Pastor Paul Rika in September 2019. The first week was tagged Week of Spiritual Cleansing and the objective was for total cleansing, purification and sanctification of HOREMOW members to enable us stand in the gap. This involved daily fellowship prayers, listening to holiness messages on sanctification and settling pending restitutions to ensure personal, family and fellowship holiness and readiness for heaven. The second week was tagged Week-of-Action and which entailed daily fasting and prayer at unit or chapter level as well as evangelism and sharing of HOREMOW flyers for publicity of the Lord’s message to Nigerian Christians. There were Radio announcements in addition to publicity through social media. On the action day, Sunday 22nd September, HOREMOW members nationwide marched on the streets from 4-6pm with great shouts of Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus over Nigeria. It is noteworthy that spiritual cleansing, fasting and prayers, evangelism and publicity of HOREMOW continues until permanent victory for Christianity is achieved and the Lord’s name is glorified and exalted all over Nigeria as the war is not yet over and the battle is in phases. Amen.
