TOPIC: HOW PARADISE GOT RELOCATED TO HEAVEN May Saturday 23rd
Text: Acts 7:55-60
Key verse: Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the Glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.
When the Lord resurrected from the dead, the dead old testament saints too came out and went with him to heaven. This was when paradise moved from under the earth to heaven above. From that time those who die in Christ no longer go to the lower part of the earth, but straight to heaven. Their souls go straight to heaven and as such there is nothing like soul sleeping since paradise, their place of abode is now in heaven. From the account of the martyrdom of Stephen as seen in our reading text, Jesus was standing in heaven at the right hand of God the Father and was ready to receive the soul of the righteous that was on the verge of death on earth. So the souls of the righteous people now go straight to heaven.
Paul the apostle also spoke in the same vein when he said in Philippians 1: 23 for I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better. If I depart, I will be with Christ. Where is Christ? He is in heaven. If I die and leave this world now I will go straight to Jesus who will be the one welcoming me to heaven. Therefore, righteous people are no more in hell, where paradise used to exist in one compartment and “hell fire” in the other compartment. Nevertheless, sinners are still in hell fire, the place of punishment meant for those who died without Christ. Sinners who are presently there now shall resurrect in due time and taken to the final place of death called the lake of fire. Where the lake of fire is now we cannot tell, but sinners will be going there.
Thought for the day: To be with Christ is far better:
Song for the day; Dwelling together, how happy we shall be, through all eternity…
Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 8-10; John 8:37-59

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
