TOPIC: BENEFITS OF COMPLETE TRUST IN GOD May Wednesday 20th
Text: Psalm 3:5, 6
Key verse: Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.
Your heart will be free from all kinds of fear. Your trust in God instills confidence in you that the Lord will surely intervene in that matter that has arisen against you and will save you. All the fear of Satan and what the future holds for you will vanish away. Even the fear of death will disappear if you have come to the point of total trust in your God, who is the Author and Finisher of your faith. Your confidence is that whether you live or die, it is all to the glory of God. Whatever happens or does not happen to you in the future is in God’s hands.
Let your heart be on God and you will never be afraid of what the enemy is declaring or planning against you. Have you signed the contract of total trust with God? Life and death are in the hands of this same God and no one can tamper with your life without His express permission. Forget about what the enemy is saying and tell yourself, “I am not afraid of any threat of the enemy. My life is a bundle of joy in the hands of God. He will never let me down.” Keep trusting in the God for that is the answer to your fear. Complete trust in God requires that you believe God totally, and to trust Him completely means that you have entered into your rest in Him.
Paul was in jeopardy while on a sea voyage but the angel of the Lord came to him and said, “The Lord has given unto you all that are sailing with you. None of you shall die.” Paul told the people, “Sirs, be of good cheers, there shall be no loss of life except of the ship.” They did not know how it would happen. They just had to trust the word of the man of God and as they saw the man of God relaxed and ate food, they too did the same. Every one of them came out of the devastating shipwreck alive. The ship broke into pieces but lives of the voyagers were saved as the Lord had spoken. You too can believe God that that darkness hovering over your life will soon experience brightness of the sun. Continue to trust God for supernatural turnaround in your life.
Thought for the day: As Author of your life, God knows how to reshape it to perfection.
Song for the day: I know my Redeemer liveth
Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 1-2; John 7:32-53

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
