TOPIC: LET YOUR MINISTRY BE A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD May Friday 15th
Text: Psalm 122:1-9
Key verse: Luke 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
Let your commitment be complete and sacrificial in HOREMOW for God has raised up a true body meant to revive righteousness and holiness upon the earth. The Lord has raised it up. Be confident to go along with us for the Lord has spoken good concerning us, so that when the Lord shall bless us, you will be blessed also. Just as Simeon prophesied, some people stumbled and fell. The Pharisees, Sadducees, the chief priests and many Jews fell. In Israel, they fell and missed their God. It was said of Jesus, it was said of the prophets of God, for the word of God is shaper than any two-edged sword. We are for your construction and for your blessing.
But you may want to ask, “Why are some people falling? Why are people abusing HOREMOW?” It is normal. That is why the internet is full of negative things about Paul Rika and Holiness Revival Movement. You may as well wonder and say, “Jesus, since I came to You, everybody hates me.” Jesus is a two-edged sword. “Jesus, since I gave my life to You, my marriage is crumbling.” Jesus would reply, “I have come to set division between a man and his wife.” In case your own complain is, “Jesus, my mother in-law hates me because I became born-again,” Jesus will tell you, “In fact, it shows that My ministry is prospering in your life!” In case you are a minister and you say, “Lord, I don’t know what I did to these people. They just hate me,” you are only showing that you are double-edged.
Your ministry is double-edged, that is why they are reacting to you like that. You are double-edged, that is why they are doing that on you. Jesus asks, “Do you think that I have come here to unite a sinner and Christian? Have I come to bring agreement between a righteous man and a wicked man? Have I come to the world to unite darkness and light?” Never! Many in the world shall be wounded because of the message of Jesus. There will be separation between light and darkness, and between believers and sinners because of the gospel of Jesus which is the holiness doctrine.
