TOPIC: JESUS THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, WILL REWARD YOUR LABOUR OF LOVE
TEXT: Revelation 2:9-10
KEY VERSE: Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
Jesus is Alpha and Omega, He knows the beginning and end of every creature. Through Him all creatures have their being so He knows them one-by-one and none escapes His attention. Therefore, whatever He says about them is true. He does not require the opinion of men to know about men. While we assess churches and persons by what we see and hear, God does so by what He knows with absolute certainty. That was why Jesus told the Laodicean Church, “I know your works.” Very often, what we see as humans is different from what God sees as an omniscient Deity. In the book of 1Samuel 16:7 the bible says, “But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” Clearly, God does not see things the way humans do. Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.
Some people have the tendency for eye service. They do things, not out of true love, but for people to see and commend them. To observers, they are seeing a very zealous and dedicated brother or sister, yet she could be a witch or him a wizard. In a recent revelation, God said that agents of darkness often take over critical assignments in the assembly to gain free access in order to pollute the people. These are the same people men have been seeing and commending as very hardworking and zealous for God’s work. But on the contrary, God knows them as pollutants who cause harm to the spiritual life of His children. God knows everything, even the secret thoughts of the heart. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows your good works as well and keeps record of them for future reward. 1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Do not be discouraged by the attitude of men. Just keep on doing the good work of your Father, for He is seeing all and appreciates your sacrifice of love. In due season, you will reap bountiful reward for your faithful service. Amen.
Thought for the day: Look up to God for your commendation and compensation, not man.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
