TOPIC: ABANDON YOURSELF TO THE LORD IN TOTAL TRUST
Text: 2 Corinthians 1:8-10
Key verse: Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before Him.

Learn to trust the Lord completely and abandoning yourself totally to His will. Even though it may appear by our limited understanding as if we are being ill-treated by God, we should not be discouraged by our poor analysis of the situation; but rather, surrender totally to God in trust. Whether God is angry with you or not, trust Him. Whatever is happening to you in this life, be determined that your trust will remain in the Lord. Always remember that when you became born again, you signed a contract of total trust in Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Learn to be like the child who after the mother has beaten him seriously and he is crying will still cling to the mother practically saying, “Though you have beaten me severely, you are still my mother. I will not leave you.” The child will be crying and holding the waist of the mother, and following her all around. This is what the Lord expects of all His children. Let God know of your trust in Him. Declare unto Him, “Lord, I trust in you. I believe in you.” Time of adversities, pains and other challenges of life will come as a flood and mighty wind against you; but tell yourself that you have covenanted with God to trust Him in all situations and circumstances of life. Declare that you are a child of trust and you are trust-implanted in the living God. Move forward and announce to the world. Let Satan and his demons know that as long as you live in the world, you have purposed to trust in the Lord.

Your determination to trust completely in God is a personal choice. Others may not do so, but you should make up your mind to do so. Others may run between two opinions on this matter, but as for you, let your mind be totally made up. You have no other choice than to trust in the living God. Let your family members, your friends and colleagues know about your choice. Do not only declare it, also demonstrate your choice for all to see. Christianity is a practical thing. In all circumstances of your life, demonstrate your choice to trust in the Lord. Show everyone that you are totally immersed in the will of God. Let it be clearly seen in your daily life.

Song for the day: He has promised He will never fail

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
