TOPIC: ETERNAL LIFE IS ONLY IN JESUS CHRIST April Monday 13th
Text: 1 John 1:1-2
Key verse: 1 John 5:12 He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the son of God hath not life.

In today’s reading text, John the beloved was describing Jesus Christ as the Word of life and eternal life. The eternal life that man lost in the garden of Eden was restored through Jesus Christ. Therefore, if you have Jesus you have eternal life and you are guaranteed of living forever with God. Eternal life is different from eternal living. Eternal life is the pleasant side of life or the blessed side of life. Eternal living on the other hand is the horrible and terrible condition of the soul of a sinner in hell. This is the worst state of life where God has no dealing with him and mercy or help is foreclosed forever. Eternal life is only in Jesus Christ and that is what makes Christianity a unique religion. It is not just a religion but it is the right way of life here on the earth. This is because eternal life or everlasting life is the life of God, the life of peace, the life of joy, the life of comfort, the life of satisfaction, the life of glory, the life of contentment and the life of pleasantness. The eternal life that man lost in the garden is restored in Jesus. If you have Jesus, then eternal life is restored to you; and if you are walking with Jesus, it means when you die, you will go to heaven straight away. There you will live forever with God in heaven.

As you are alive now on earth, at the rapture you will never die, but be taken alive in a transformed body into heaven and will remain alive there forever with God enjoying the bliss of heaven. When the LORD told Adam in the garden that the day he ate of this tree he would die, God was not just referring to physical existence on earth. Rather, the death God was talking about has dual implications. First as for man’s physical body on earth, it shall no longer live forever but shall cease to exist at some point and go into extinction. But as for the soul that God breathed into man, that soul does not die as in ceasing to exist in eternity. But in eternity, there are two kinds of life: one is eternal life for the righteous in heaven and the other is eternal living for the wicked in hell. Your spiritual state at the time of death determines your eternal destiny.

Thought for the day: Eternal life in Jesus Christ makes Christianity a unique religion.
Song for the day: He is alive Amen

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
