TOPIC: DO NOT DESPISE YOUR YOUTH
Text: 2 Timothy 3:15-17
Key Verse: 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity”.

This text reveals what the scripture produces in a believer. “The man of God” referred to in this text has nothing to do with age. It deals with faith and holiness. As a young man, Timothy was a man of God. As a youth Paul charged him, “Let no man despise your youth that the man of God through the scriptures might be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” One of the prominent persons that worked with Apostle Paul was Timothy and he was a youth. He was a young disciple. Paul makes it clear that when it comes to Christianity, youths are not to be despised. Goliath made that mistake and lost his life. When it comes to Christian service, nobody should despise the youth. The glory of the youth is his strength. Therefore, let no man however old, despise thy youth. Youth, you too must not despise yourself and underrate what you can do for Jesus. Do not think you are incapable of doing some things. You can do great things for Jesus. God chose you as a youth to serve Him.

Paul got a youth for ministry service, as a co-minister with him and working together, they established many churches. There was increase among the believers. Timothy was a disciple, the son of a Jewish woman and that woman believed the gospel of Jesus. Not all Jews believed, but she did. His father was a Greek. Concerning Timothy’s life, verse 2 says that Timothy was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium. The people that saw that young man knew that he was a true Christian, a true believer. The people in that environment said this young man was a believer indeed and recommended him to Paul, affirming that he was fit to go out with him for ministry. Youth, make yourself available as a holy vessel and battle axe in the hands of God.

Thought for the day: God chose you as a youth to serve Him.
Song for the day: My lifetime, I will give God my lifetime

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
