April Friday 17th
TOPIC: NOW THAT GOD HAS SHOWN YOU THE TRUTH, RUN WITH THE MESSAGE TO SAVE SOULS
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 9:16-17
KEY VERSE: Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
Did you know the truth? Did you know Jesus as you thought you did? Did you know righteousness? Did you know holiness in the church where you were? Speaking in sincerity, was your name in the Book of Life? Did you know the principle of having victory over sin? Was not Satan the king of Assyria standing at the door post of your house to ensure you never escaped? It took a miracle that connected you. It took a miracle that opened your eyes. It took a miracle that gives you the privilege to now sit down and be fanning yourself as one that has escaped from the land of doom. You have escaped from the churches of doom. Now you can breathe out in righteousness and smile in righteousness. You now have confidence as you have done your restitutions on those sins you committed in your ignorance. But do you remember that you left some people there? That your types are still there? Do you still remember that those your precious friends are still there; the nobles, the kings? Do you remember that those people in the choir that you sang with are still there and the king of Assyria (Satan) is still there blocking their way? Fear has kept them bound.
When the city of Samaria was besieged and help was sought from the king of Israel to save dying citizens from severe hunger, do you remember that the king could not solve their problem? He said, “How can I?” He had no Gospel for them. He had no message for them. In the same way, the pastors in these besieged churches have no message for them. They don't know God and they don't have the power of God. Their pastors don't know the truth. Do you remember that these pastors are still the ones there up till now? Do you value their souls? Do you know that their souls are precious? Their souls are very precious indeed. God wants you to do something about it. Rise up and do something. Four lepers said we are not doing well. We have delayed for too long. Brother you are delaying! Waste no more time for the Lord’s soon coming is at hand.
Thought for the day: Let the message in your hands give you confidence, for it never fails.
