SATISFACTORY SETTLEMENT IN DOWRY PAYMENT SATURDAY MARCH 10
 TEXT: Genesis 29: 14-22
Key Verse: “Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.” Genesis 34: 12
Satisfactory settlement in dowry payment and other legitimate demands of the parents should be done to warrant release of their daughter for marriage. Ungodly demands should be politely and firmly rejected. Neither should money equivalent be given. Neither should they be replaced with money. Sister, if you are a Christian, start working on your parents now, as long as you are hoping to get married to a husband. We don’t give alcohol, we don’t give whiskey. Go and get them ready to avoid those abominable things. Their forefathers that didn’t know the gospel set those standards and they never turned away from the standards of their forefathers. But we are not going after the customs and traditions of men, therefore, prepare your parents for your marriage settlement. Explain to them all the things that will not be done, treat them one by one, now that you have not even brought somebody to marry yet, get them informed, at that time they will be prepared.
Of course the marriage committee will delegate people that will go with you, it is not two of you that will go and pay dowry; we don’t know what you went and settled there. If we don’t have facts, we don’t have evidence. “Did you go and play compromise there”? We are not aware so how are you thinking that we should wed you when we are not witnesses of you dowry payment? You went and gave alcohol to some people and now you say we should wed you. My brethren, don’t ever bring pollution to Holiness Revival Movement in your State and Nation. It is better that you don’t wed somebody than you wed a polluted person. Everything must be supervised, everything must be looked upon: Holiness from the beginning; holiness all through the process; and holiness to the end. Then as Paul said, that I might present them perfect unto the Lord. That should be else, the Bible says, lay hand suddenly on no man, if you do you will be partaker of another man’s sins.
Thought for the day: It is better that you don’t wed somebody than you wed a polluted person.
Song for the day: I will never let the devil win the battle
Bible reading for the day:
Deuteronomy 11-13; Mark 13:1-13

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
