THE LIFESTYLE OF A HEAVENLY MINDED CHRISTIAN FRIDAY MARCH 9
Text: 2 Peter 3:11-15
Key Verse: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2.

Heavenly minded believers set their hearts and affections on heaven, their minds are in heaven, they think heaven, they dream of heaven, they love to talk about heaven. Their spirit, their soul is already there, it only remains their body to join. Nothing in this world so entice them than God and heaven, they live in this world as strangers and pilgrims. They lay their treasures in heaven where they hope to return someday and enjoy them eternally. They are conscious of their names in the register of heaven –the book of life than any other register on earth, they pursue heaven than any other thing in this world. They do all, forsake all and bear all things to ensure their name is maintained in heaven. Brethren, the greatest achievement that you can make in this world is that you register your name in the book of life and maintain it unto the end of your life on earth. The greatest investment you can make in this world is to find a place of rest for your soul who shall not die but shall live forever. You’ve laboured so much for your flesh to make it feel comfortable, to make it a name, to make it famous.
You build house and put your flesh, you educate it, give it good medical care, buy car for it to reduce stress of trekking, dress and adorn it with sophisticated cosmetics and attires, you feed it till it becomes fat and robust, you’ve polished this flesh and make it sparkling. But do you sit down and consider where the real you is going to live for eternity. You’ve taken time to furnish this earthly house but your soul is starved, malnourished, poor, wretched, naked, lonely, lean, weak. Not that you shouldn’t care for your body but care more for your soul that shall live forever after this world. You’ve eaten this world enough, you’ve enjoyed this world enough, you’ve explored this world enough, it is enough. Now focus heaven, set your mind in heaven, invest in heaven where you’ll live eternally. You’ve been saying let me enjoy this world when I want to die or when I’m old I will repent and serve God. You don’t need to wait again lest you enter into eternal regret. Rapture will soon take place else you can die any moment. Hear the voice of God today calling you to repentance and holiness.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
