Text: Luke 13:23-24
Key Verse: Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
The devil has entered into the government to ensure that you don’t escape: he has entered into the family, schools, churches, media etc all to stop you going to heaven. We must do all to stand and be presented to God perfect without spot, God cannot manage you. When an animal eats part of a mango and it falls down do you go and eat the remaining? God can never take the remaining part of you if Satan has already worked on you. He will prefer to go empty handed than to carry a defiled person to heaven. Since it is like this what manner of person should you be in all holy conversation and righteousness. Going to heaven require holiness and in living a holy life you must pass through everything. You must pass through every test. You must carry out every assignment, you cannot overlook anything. If you do a thing and swallow it and say it is not known, you’ve missed one of the steps to heaven. As you are going you’ve jumped something. You failed a course in school and before you graduate you have to reseat that course because you must pass every course before you obtain the certificate. So for this heaven don’t plan to jump anything. Don’t seek to hide anything, don’t seek to cover anything. You must pass through all, you must carry out every commandment, you must do everything required as you are going. It is better you delay and get the matter settled. If you need to climb on top of hill if that is the way the road goes, take your time to climb. Then take time gradually to descend don’t seek to jump over it, descend passing through everything as you are moving to heaven, you must not ignore any aspect of the word of God. We must seek to know and keep all the commandment of God to qualify for heaven. Many have not known this, they have not understood holiness, they have not understood hell.
The scripture warns against the use of ornament on your body, wearing trousers by women and you say but in our church we wear earring, we wear trouser and do make up. Is your church heaven? Does your pastor or pastor’s wife have eternal life for you? If your church or pastor goes contrary to the scriptures abandon your church and follow the scripture, why must you follow your pastor and disobey God. Judgment is individual you’ll not be judged as a church or family but as an individual. Or you say I only wear trouser because of work. If rapture or dead meet you with that trouser will God take any excuse from you? Why must you join your place of work or the government to disobey God. If they will not allow you to obey God, quit that job and pick up another job that you can do and obey God and make heaven, why must you go to hell because of job.
