THINGS TO CONSIDER IN MARRIAGE  SATURDAY MARCH 31
TEXT: EPHESIANS 5:21-27
Key verse: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” Ephesians 5: 22
The man is the head of the house. If you give your husband his due honour then your place is protected. God never gave headship of the home to the woman. The woman that takes over because of money is for her misery. When the woman submits then you rule in love. If you want your glory then love your wife and speak kindly to her. Give your wife all she needs to make her thankful to God and content in the marriage. Do not defraud one another, rather discuss amicably and arrive at a balance that accommodates the needs and desires of both partners. A man that is denied by his wife is like a child denied breast milk by the mother. Such matters if not well handled could lead to suspicion, strife and animosity in the home. Note that divorce is contrary to the word of God. Adultery or fornication is not a reason for divorce. What God has joined together let no one put asunder. In case of barrenness there is no divorce or separation. Luke 1:5-7. You don’t divorce one another because of barrenness you are not given to that man or woman for childbearing alone. Money management in marriage should be handled carefully and jointly. You are no longer two but one, hence no separate resources. He that is wise should be foolish so that he can be wise. Do not keep secrets such as secret bank accounts and landed property unknown to your spouse. Relationship with the in laws must be in holiness and righteousness. Avoid undue interference from in laws and relatives. Help your husband to fulfil his ministry. Woman your husband can be a holy preacher by your contribution. Sarah was the mother of faith. The man might have a desire but there is no marriage to present. Take proper care of your wife if you are thinking about heaven. The church lost the vision of godly marriage that is why it is like a cloud without water in many families. Reconciliation is important in cases of misunderstandings in the home.  Confess your faults one to another and pray for one another. A family that prays together stays together. Ensure that there is always a healthy spiritual environment at home to foster love, peace and righteousness in both children and parents. Seek counsel where necessary to overcome seemingly difficult situations because some matters may go beyond you. Counselling is divine but counsel must not be taken from everybody. Finally avoid pride and other works of the flesh. Never be proud because of anything because what you have is given by God.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
