BIBLICAL TEACHING ON CHRISTIAN DRESSING FRIDAY MARCH 23
TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 2: 19-21
Key verse: “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” 2 Corinthians 7:1.
When a person is born again he is to be taught all things the Lord has commanded us in the Scripture. Not all preachers of the gospel bother about the outward appearance of a believer. But holiness cannot be achieved without freedom from worldliness in physical appearance. Any believer that does not want to conform to sound Christian teaching on Christian dressing, in modesty and sobriety, is not holy and cannot see God. Biblical teaching on Christian dressing is not for everyone, but for women professing godliness, who seek to be holy women. This teaching is aimed at raising holy men and women for God in these last days, to present a church without spot or wrinkle to Christ at His second coming, Hebrews 12:14. Founding fathers of many Christian assemblies taught against the use of Jewelry in Christian dressing, in the light of the Scriptures, to keep their members holy. But when the ministry of the founding fathers and those of their immediate successors passed away by death, leaders of succeeding generations succumbed to inward pressure from their members and allowed the use of jewelry, arguing that it is none essential or that the scripture has not really prohibited their use. The founding fathers of such assemblies did not put their conviction and doctrine into writing to make it plain and accessible to all succeeding generations. This doctrine was only emphasized verbally and when their members ceased hearing of them, their conviction weakened and faded away. The message and doctrines of the gospel were best preached and preserved through writing. There are hard scriptural texts on jewelry that require exposition to make their meaning clear. When these texts are misinterpreted or not rightly interpreted, they become stumbling blocks which make many to lose their conviction on the doctrine. Apostle Peter acknowledged that there are some portions of scripture which are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable misinterpret to their own destruction and to the destruction of those that hear them, 2Peter 3:16.Majority of Church leaders are misleading all the children of God to hell with denominational idolatry, satanic fashions and worldliness. They have left the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thought for the day: Prayerfully study to shew yourself approved unto God.
Song for the day: Open my eyes Oh Lord
Bible reading for the day:
Joshua 9-10; Luke 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
