PURITY OF A FAITHFUL CHURCH
FRIDAY JANUARY 5
TEXT: REVELATION 3:7-13
Key verse: “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and has kept my word, and hast not denied my name” Revelation 3:8.
The church in Philadelphia received commendation and encouragement without any blame from Christ. He who is holy and true did not see anything unholy or untrue in their midst. The righteous, impartial judge was so pleased with that church that all He had for them was greater privilege of more usefulness in ministry. The compromise and corruption found in other churches were not found in the church in Philadelphia. The decline of the first love, the inroad of idolatry and immorality through the corrupting influence of Jezebel, the deception of the doctrine and deeds of Balaam and the Nicolaitanes, association and interaction with false world religions, compromise and toleration of sin and false prophets, fear of suffering persecution and consequent unfaithfulness were not found in this faithful, pure, Christ-honouring church.
The Lord Jesus Christ has divine power and authority to demand holiness and to make us holy. He sets an open door before a pure, persevering church which had not denied His name when their adversaries and persecutors brought much pleasure upon the ministers and the members. They seemed to have a little strength but God is in it. Just like a little faith can move mountains and find nothing impossible, so a little divine strength can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Faithfulness with little opens door of more opportunities in ministry. The Lord promised to subdue the enemies of truth under His faithful people. He was going to prove His love for his consecrated people for all to see. And He will protect and preserve His pure, persevering people from the tribulation which will soon come on the whole world. He has promised to take away in the Rapture His righteous, pure, faithful, steadfast church before the great tribulation. He has repeatedly assured us that He is coming again. The conqueror’s crown awaits all believers who are faithful to the end. Those who are negligent and unfaithful will deprive themselves of eternal rewards and the promised glory. The overcomers will be made a pillar in the eternal temple of God and “Shall go no more out”, they will be permanent as part of God’s spiritual temple forever. What a glorious thing it will be to live a holy, victorious and overcoming life till the end.
Thought the day: He has promised to take His righteous, pure, faithful and steadfast church
Song for the day: Remember me Oh Lord, remember me in your kingdom

Bible reading for the day: Genesis 12-14; Matthew 5:1-26

Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern

God's blessings shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern Text: Mark 16: 17 – 20 Wednesday May 8th Key verse: Obadiah 17 “Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” God has prepared to direct us on holy service unto Himself. He tells us when the lives and services of people are corrupt because from the heart of men proceed the works they do. When people are righteous and holy, their service is also righteous and holy. Hence, the word says, make the people holy then their service will be holy, so if you accept to live a life of holiness, then the fruit of your service will be holy. So, it is very important to accept the life of holiness because the God that made you is holy; He will give you grace to be holy. You just make up your mind to be holy. Do not accept that no man can be holy; then Jesus came for nothing, Jes...
REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AMEN. PRAY CONSTANTLY                                                                      FRIDAY 11 MARCH TEXT: Luke 18: 1-7 Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Pray without ceasing. I wish My children, whilst upon earth, to live more and more with Me in “the heavenly places”. Here, there is no fear or hurry or fret of spirit. I am gratified when you wait upon Me –which waiting I always honour. My thoughts, as you wait upon Me, are impressed upon you: all that I am must be increasingly absorbed by you. It is as you wait upon Me that I give to you that sense of calm assurance which you must carry about with you always. It comes from knowing that everything you have committed to Me is being surely worked out. Yes, immerse yourself in Me –and do ...
